Anne Burrell

Anne W. Burrell, an American TV chef and an former Institute of Culinary Education instructor, is a TV personality. Anne Burrell. Burrell is host of Secrets of a Restaurant Chef on the Food Network, as well as co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Ann Burrell's Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant chef and her distinctive hairstyle and her pumped up appearance, offers the basics of cooking that any person can master. Burrell is a chef who has been in the kitchen for a long time. Burrell is also a seasoned veteran of New York City's best restaurants. Additionally, she has learned about Italy's food traditions and its culture as well as the landscape. While growing up in Upstate New York, Chef Burrell was captivated by cooking and eating from an early age. Following her graduation with an English and Communications degree at Canisius College in Buffalo NY she pursued her interest in the industry of restaurants by registering as a student at The Culinary Institute of America. The Culinary Institute of America was the place where I experienced my most memorable time in my life. I couldn't seem to get enough enjoyment from it. Following graduation of the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners Chef Burrell took a full year in Italy doing research and working at La Taverna del Lupo restaurant located in Umbria as well La Bottega del 30 one Michelin star in Tuscany. In her time in Italy she was able to fully be aware of the philosophy behind Italian cuisine and culture which made a lasting impression from a culinary point of view. Burrell is a part of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board which helps brighten children living with difficulties. She also serves as a Juvenile diabetes research foundation Celebrity Ambassador, where she advocates for the awareness of juvenile diabetes. Burrell travels extensively across the United States in her position as both a mentor and guest speaker where she discusses her career and love of cooking. Throughout Anne's culinary journey she often says that she feels very fortunate to share my passion in life with others.
