Magda Apanowicz

 Magda Apanowicz (NOH-vitch; Polish: born November 8 in 1985) is a Canadian actor from Canada. She is most well-known for her role on ABC Family's Kyle XY as Andy Jensen and Syfy's Caprica science fiction drama series as Lacy Rand. Emily Hartwell, a science fiction actress, was born Maya Hartwell. She was a part of the Netflix thriller series You as Sandy. Apanowicz she is a Polish-American and attended the 9th grade in Poland. She lived with her uncle in Poland, and went to Jelenia Gola school. She went on to attend Vancouver Film School. The brother of her introduced her to Pulp Fiction at the age 10 and she was immediately interested in acting. Her acting career began in 2002 , appearing in Jeremiah and John Doe. In 2007-2009, she played Andy Jensen in Kyle XY. In 2008 she starred in the Hallmark Channel original movie Every Second Counts.In 2009, Apanowicz was cast as Lacy Rand as a regular in the drama television series Caprica featuring Eric Stoltz and Alessandra Torresani. The following year, she was a guest on Hellcats. In 2012, she was a guest star in the second season of Jane Espenson's web-based romantic comedy series, Husbands.In 2013, Apanowicz was cast as Emily in the series Continuum Also, she appeared in the Eli Roth horror film The Green Inferno as Samantha. The Green Inferno, although it was made in 2012, was released worldwide in the year 2015. Apanowicz was cast to as Angela in Volition which is a science-fiction thriller film. The film premiered in 2020.In 2019, Apanowicz was cast in the recurring role of Sandy on the second season of Netflix thriller You.
