Annie Wersching

Annie Wersching, born March 28 1977, is an American actress who is best recognized for her part in 24 and for the voice work she did for Tess in Naughty Dog’s video game The Last of Us. Wersching was born in St. Louis. She went to high school at Crossroads College Preparatory School in the Central West End of St. Louis, graduating in 1995. Star Trek: Enterprise: Wersching marked her first appearance as an actor. Then, she appeared in guest roles as a star in shows such as Charmed and Killer Instinct. She played the role of Amelia Joffe, a recurring character on ABC Daytime's soap show General Hospital from March 2007 until November 2007. She has worked at theaters such as Victory Gardens and Marriott Lincolnshire. In her youth, she was a competitor in Irish dance and was a member of the St. Louis Celtic Stepdancers. She graduated in 1999 with a Bachelor in Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from Millikin University. Following her two-season stint on 24, Wersching guest starred on various shows that included CSI, NCIS, Rizzoli and Isles Hawaii Five-0, Body of Proof, Dallas, Revolution, Castle, Blue Bloods, The Vampire Diaries and Touch (which stars her 24 co-star Kiefer Sutherland). In 2014, she was a regular in the first season of the Amazon Prime crime show Bosch. Wersching was the National League's catcher in 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game. In December 2012, it was discovered that Wersching was the voice actor and mo-cap actor of Tess in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us. Her character was teased on Geoff Keighley's account on Twitter before she was revealed in the story trailer that was shown on the Spike Video Game Awards on December 7, 2012.In September 2021, it was announced that Wersching is set to play the Borg Queen in the second season of Star Trek: Picard
