 Abbie Cornish is an Australian actress. She started modeling at age 13 and got her first acting role at the age of 15. The roles she played in films and TV shows followed. Cornish is best known for her performances as the courtier Bess Throckmorton in the historical film 'Elizabeth: The Golden Age', the heroin addict of the title in "Candy," Lindy in the sci-fi thriller 'Limitless' , and Fanny Brawne in the biopic 'Bright Star'. Her TV roles include "Outriders" and Marking Time'. As a singer and rapper, Cornish has been performing since 2000 under the stage name "MC Dusk". Born in New South Wales and raised alongside three brothers and one sister, she enjoyed an average childhood until her parents split when she turned 16. Abbie was able overcome the grief of divorce by focusing her efforts on her career. The Australian beauty is an excellent pianist and guitarist, but she loves acting more than any other thing. Cornish who is a strict vegan supports animal rights. She is a frequent contributor to animal rights organizations. Abbie Cornish was born in Lochinvar, New South Wales on the 7th of August, 1982. She is the second child of Barry Cornish and Shelley Cornish. Isabelle Corish is her older sister and she is an actress. In terms of the actress' love life she was once engaged to actor Ryan Phillippe who she dated between 2006 and 2010.
