2 Chainz Biography

 Tauheed Epps is an American rapper and hip-hop artist more popularly known as 2 Chainz. He is a Georgia native, and created the hip-hop group Playaz Circle with a friend from high school. Their debut album, entitled Supply and Demand', was a disappointing success. Epps his second album, 'Based on a T.R.U. Story', his debut studio album. It reached the top spot on the US Billboard 200 and was a huge success. Within its first week, it was sold out in 147,000 copies! The success of the album has earned him the status of a household name and he quickly became a star in the US's hip-hop scene. He has been nominated for six Grammy categories, of which one has been won for "No Problem." When his bag with promethazine and marijuana was found inside his luggage on a flight leaving Los Angeles International Airport, the singer was detained. The incident has not had any effect on his popularity. His fourth and current studio album, "Pretty Girls Like Trap Music" was released in June 2017. "Based on an R.U. Story', 2 Chainz's debut studio album, is his first major release and his most commercially successful. The album reached the top spot on the US Billboard 200. It also sold 147,000 copies in just a week. It was eventually sold 623,000 times over the year. The album, which featured songs that were a hit, including "No Lie", 'Birthday Song', and'I'm Different' was also nominated for 'Best Rap Album' at the 55th Grammy Awards. There were mixed reviews. 2 Chainz wed Kesha Ward in 2013. The couple have three kids: Heaven, Harmony, and Halo. He has a very successful career, but he is also known for his blunders in the legal system. He has been arrested many times for drug possession.
